Recipes
 

1. Cleansing Diet

3 apples, 3 sticks of celeries, 3 carrots, 1/2 cucumber, 1/2 green bell pepper. Wash, shred and mix them. Add one squeezed orange and handful of black raisins. Keep for 10 minutes or until raisins are fluffed.

2. Vegetable Juice (For four people)

7 carrots, 5 celeries, 2 apples, 1 tangerine, 1 beet, 1/4 bunch of spinach, 1 piece (1/2" X 1/2" X 1") of ginger, 15 black grapes. Available juice extractors: Juiceman, Braun, Oster, Sanyo, Panasonic, Omega.

3. Regular Salad

Cabbage, carrot, radish, cucumber, spinach, green bell pepper, mushroom, lettuce, alpha sprouts, and fresh orange juice as dressing.

4. Protein Salad (10 Serving)

baby spinach 5 cup Cucumber Persian 2 pc Red, Yellow and Green Bell peppers ½ cup chopped Lettuce shredded 1/2 lb Dill fresh 1/2 bunch Edamame frozen ½ lb Moong sprout 1/2 lb Roasted corn ¼ cup Quinoa cooked ¼ cup Baby roasted wheat ¼ cup Cilantro, green chili, salt, pepper and lemon as needed Vegenaise

Method: - Soak Baby roasted wheat for 8 hours - Chop baby spinach, cucumber, and bell peppers - Mix spinach, cucumber, bell peppers and lettuce - Add moong sprout, edamame, Roasted corn, quinoa and baby roasted wheat - Add dressing and mix it well - Garnish with chopped fresh dil

For dressing: combine cilantro, green chili, salt, pepper and lemon with Vegenaise in a blender and blend till smooth.

5. Amrutam (16 glasses)

One gallon of water, Ginger shredded - (1” diameter by 1” long), Tulsi (Basil) leaves - 10, Mint leaves - 4, Parsley - 2 stems, Oregano - ¼ teaspoon, Ajamo (Thyme) – ½ teaspoon. Boil the above combination for 15 minutes at medium heat. Remove from the heat. Filter. Add lemon juice, honey and salt (to your taste). Suggested: Juice of ½ lemons, Honey - 2 tablespoons, salt – ½ teaspoon or to taste.

6. Corn Soup (For 10 aspirants)

1-1/2 g. water, 2 cans of creamed corn, 2 teaspoon ghee, 2 carrots (shredded), 1 tomato (diced), 1 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder, 1/4 teaspoon red pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, juice of 1 lemon. Boil corn in water for 20 minutes at medium heat. Blend well in the mixer. In a small pan warm ghee to make tadaka (vaghãr). Add cumin seeds heat till they turn brown (not black). Add this tadaka (vaghãr) in soup. Add carrots, turmeric, red pepper, and salt. Boil for 5 more minutes. Add chopped coriander leaves, diced tomatoes and boil for 1 more minute. Add juice of lemon. Cover for 5 minutes and serve.

7. Khichdi (10 serving)

Rice 21/2 cup. soaked for 15 minutes and drained Split Green Moong Daal 5 tbsp washed and drained Carrots 2 Green peas ½ cup cumin seeds 1 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/2 teaspoon salt as needed Curry leaves 10 pc. green chili paste 2 tsp Ghee 2 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon stick half Cloves 4 pc. Cashews, golden raisins as needed Chopped Cilantros ½ cup

Method: 1. Heat the ghee in a deep non-stick kadhai and add the cumin seeds, turmeric powder, curry leaves, cinnamons, cloves, cashews and golden raisins. Add 2 cups of water. Add carrots and peas. Add salt as needed. 2. Combine the mixture with rice, green moong dal and green chili paste in a pressure cooker, mix well and pressure cook for 3 whistles. 3. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. Keep aside. 4. Garnish with cilantros. Serve with plain yogurt.

8. Dressings for Salad

A. cilantros 1 bunch, Italian parsley 1 bunch, green chilis 1, ginger 1”X1” , cashews ½ cup, lemon, salt, black pepper to taste. Method: - Soak Cashews in look warm water for 6 hours. - Cut cilantros, parsley, green chili and ginger. 5. Drain water from cashews. Combine all the ingredients in a blender and Add ½ cup water. Blend till smooth. 6. Add lemon, salt, black pepper to taste.

B. 1/3 cup chopped mint 2/3 cup money 1 1/3 tbsp apple cider vinegar Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend till smooth.

C. Fresh Orange juice ½ cup Lemon juice 1 teaspoon Olive oil 2 teaspoon Salt, pepper as needed

Combine all the ingredients.
