Shrey Meditation

Please take a comfortable sitting position and keep your eyes gently closed. Breathe in through your nose and very slowly breathe out through the center of your lips. Again, breathe in gracefully and very gently breathe out through the center of your lips. Enjoy breathing in with awareness. And now breathe out extremely slowly through the center of your lips. Breathe in gently and breathe out with mental chanting of AUM. In through the nose and out with longer AUM. In through the nose and while breathing out, identify yourself with AUM.

Now, take your awareness to the center between your eyebrows. Continue breathing in and breathing out. Think of nothing but the center between your eyebrows. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the center between your eyebrows.

Shift your awareness to a point on your right knee. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. And think of nothing but the point on your right knee. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the point on your right knee.

Now, be aware of a point on your left knee. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. And think of nothing but the point on your left knee. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the point on your left knee.

You are now fully aware of the three points - the center of your eyebrows, the point on your right knee and the point on your left knee.

Connect them with smooth lines to form a triangle. Now, you have 3 points and 3 lines and a beautiful triangle pointing upward.

Gently fill the triangle with saffron color. Keep your awareness on this beautiful saffron triangle.

Be aware of a point on your right shoulder. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. And think of nothing but the point on your right shoulder. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the point on your right shoulder.

Now, be aware of a point on your left shoulder. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. And think of nothing but the point on your left shoulder. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the point on your left shoulder.

Now, be aware of the point in your perineal region. Breathe in and breathe out. Breathe in and breathe out. And think of nothing but that point - the mooladhar chakra. Feel as if you are breathing in and gently breathing out through the Mooladhar chakra. You are fully aware of these additional 3 points - the point on your right shoulder, the point on your left shoulder and the point in your perineal region - the Mooladhar chakra.

Connect them with smooth lines to form a triangle. Now you have 3 points, 3 lines and a beautiful triangle pointing downward.

Gently fill this triangle with a greenish-blue color. Keep your attention on this beautiful greenish-blue triangle.

Slowly your attention will be focused on the centroid of the smaller triangle. Enjoy looking at the centroid of the smaller triangle. That centroid coincides with Anãhat chakra. Be aware of the saffron bigger triangle and greenish blue smaller triangle and the central point.

As you become more and more aware of these 2 triangles and the centroid, your body disappears.

You see nothing but those triangles.

Now even the outer saffron triangle fades away. The only things you have are the greenish-blue triangle and that point at the center of that small triangle - the Anãhat chakra.

Slowly even the downward triangle, the greenish-blue triangle, disappears. And you witness just that chakra and nothing but that chakra- the Anãhat chakra.
